Thandokazi Mgudlwa joined DFO as an Associate in the Conveyancing Department in February 2025. She plays a key role in
assisting with managing property transactions, with a strong focus on correspondent
conveyancing.
Born in the former Transkei,
Thandokazi matriculated from East London Science College before going on to
obtain her LLB degree from the University of Fort Hare in 2021. She completed
her articles at a well-established firm in East London, where she gained
valuable experience in property law and correspondent conveyancing. She was Admitted
as an Attorney of the High Court in September 2024.
At DFO, Thandokazi assists her colleagues as well as Correspondent firms with property transfers, bond
registrations and cancellations, and attends to matters at the Qonce Deeds
Office, including lodgements, queries, and related follow-ups.
She is passionate about property
law and committed to delivering precise, efficient service to clients and
correspondent firms. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys reading,
travelling, and hiking, and is driven by a dedication to lifelong learning and
staying abreast of developments in the Conveyancing field.
