Ingrid Gaertner

Ingrid is a Director in the firm’s Wills & Estates Department and in the Property Department, with in depth knowledge of Wills and Trust Deeds, estate planning, and the administration of deceased estates, trusts and curatorships.

After obtaining her B.Juris and LL.B degrees at the University of Port Elizabeth, she started her articles in 1996, specialising in the field of Wills & Estates. She was admitted as an attorney in 1998, joining DFO in 2002. Being a Conveyancer and Notary, Ingrid prides herself in meticulously drafting specialised contracts and seeing a property transaction to completion as promptly and efficiently as possible. Her extensive practical experience in these fields of law, together with her understanding of the correlation between property and estate related matters, allows her to provide a holistic service to clients.

To strengthen the firm’s position and relationship with its clients, Ingrid serves on the firm’s Marketing Committee. Ingrid enjoys movies, a good book and an even better glass of red wine, in the company of friends and family.
