Michelle Cronje

Michelle joined DFO as an Associate in 2021, specialising in Corporate Recoveries and Conveyancing.

After matriculating from Stirling High School in East London, Michelle went on to obtain her LL.B and LL.M degrees at the University of the Free State in 2013, where she was awarded a medal for the best Masters Student in the Law Faculty.

She completed her articles of clerkship and served as an associate at a few boutique law firms, gaining personalised and invaluable experience in Conveyancing, Deceased Estates, Debt Collections as well as Family Law.

It is this in-depth experience in different fields of the law, that sets her apart, ensuring a holistic approach to her work and providing vital assistance to the other professionals within the firm. Her intelligent, calm and willing nature endears her to colleagues, staff and clients alike.
                       
Michelle is keen for any adventure that involves nature and being outdoors.  She thoroughly enjoys being active, so her love of running, cycling and swimming comes as no surprise. Equally important to Michelle is family and spending time with loved ones. She dreams of travelling in the future but until then, in her spare time, you will find her at the beach immersed in good a book.
