Specialising in Magistrate Court litigation, Lonwabo is an Associate in DFO’s Litigation Department, accepting tasks with polite enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn, and providing vital support to other professionals.

After matriculating at Kokstad College in KwaZulu Natal, he went on to study at the University of Fort Hare where he obtained an LLB degree. During this time, he was part of the debating society of the Students for Law Social Justice, and earned an Academic Certificate for coming 2nd in his class in 2014. Lonwabo has been part of the DFO team since 2016, after completing a year at the local Law School.

Lonwabo’s involvement with the university continues as a tutor in Introduction to Law and Legal Skills. His civic mindedness and passion for youth empowerment, drew him to his involvement in his church’s youth cell group and motivational speaking at disadvantaged schools, where he also distributes stationery. As an avid cricket fan, Lonwabo coaches and plays the sport.
