Originally hailing from Gauteng, Terry obtained his B.Proc law degree at the University of Pretoria and was admitted as an Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary in 1984. He started his legal career at the Master’s Office in Pretoria, and gained excellent legal and practical knowledge of Insolvent and Deceased Estates, Trusts and Curatorships. Terry was previously part of DFO, after which he practiced for his own account for 10 years, before re-joining the firm in 2016, following a merger of the two firms.

His extensive experience and knowledge in numerous fields of the law allow him to advise his clients on complex commercial contracts and related corporate matters. He also enjoys the challenges of property developments and has been involved in several successful local developments. Although he believes in personal relationships with his clients, Terry maintains professionalism to ensure that matters are finalised as quickly, attentively and expertly as possible. His logical and pragmatic approach has gained him a solid reputation as a solution-finder.

Terry is a keen golfer and also enjoys hunting and the camaraderie of family and friends.
